    Managing Principal

    Advancing the profession of Engineering and environmental stewardship has driven Kathy’s 40-year career. From project planning to ongoing operations, Kathy has succeeded in delivering projects of various size and complexity. As a result, Kathy’s experience allows her to quickly asses and identify solutions to water and wastewater projects, both common and complex. Not to be constrained, Kathy has also been critical in the development of new treatment processes. She hold a BS in Civil Engineering, and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York. Kathy has also served on the RPI Advisory Board, the Board of the Adirondack Wildlife Refuge, and was a board member of a former bank.

    Sean Doty, PE, LEED AP, CPMSM

    Principal

    Sean has delivered a diverse array of projects to public, private and non-profit entities over his 20-years of experience in engineering. He has served as Designated Engineer to municipal, regional and state entities in which capacity has assisted in advancing their broad initiatives including infrastructure rehabilitation and development, special district formation, recreation opportunity advancement, regulation development and adoption, site development and planning and zoning support. He brings extensive experience in securing funding for, designing and managing complex infrastructure projects from project inception to commissioning. Sean has successfully completed many water resources-based projects including water quality improvement projects, wastewater and water treatment utility and process facility improvements and stormwater management and drainage improvement projects among many others.

    Sean is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York, a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and a Certified Professional in Municipal Stormwater Management. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a Professional Concentration in Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University.

    Successful projects often require the management skills Ms. Suozzo has developed over her fifteen-year career as a QA specialist and Project Engineer. Khar focuses on project management and compliance for projects with strict federal, state or local requirements. From field environmental compliance to meticulous review of construction methods and funding paperwork, Khar’s experience ensures a project is completed as planned. After completing her MBA in 2018, Khar has been utilizing her skills in managing day-to-day business and developing new business strategies to advance opportunities in the competitive markets.

    Khar holds a BS in Civil Engineering from University of Vermont and a Master in Business Administration, Advancing in Management from Champlain College. Khar also holds Licensed Professional Engineer in New York, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

    Mark Suozzo, P.E.

    Principal

    Mark graduated from the University of Vermont with Bachelor and Master’s degree in civil engineering and has worked in both Vermont and New York. Mark has had extensive experience in his professional career in both office and field work in various aspects of wastewater, potable water, and stormwater projects. He has been the lead on several innovative projects located in the Adirondacks region, and in the Hudson Valley; including land-based aquaculture treatment systems, specialty enclosures for wildlife treatment centers, alternative wastewater treatment development/pilot testing, and rehabilitation several water treatment facilities. Mark ‘s skills with project development and management, from project planning through commissioning, results in successful project completion regardless of the technical, administrative and/or regulatory obstacles.
